About the county

Organized 1845

Reynolds County is governed by a three-member County Commission — a presiding commissioner and associate commissioners for the first and second districts — alongside a set of independently elected offices. The county seat is Centerville; Ellington is the largest town.

County offices share the 1870s brick courthouse on Green Street in Centerville and are reached through its main line by extension. ATV riders get their county permits here. See the office directory below for each office’s extension.
